A trio of antique hand cut Diamonds glitter romantically across the finger in this quietly beautiful olden engagement ring. In the highly ornamental carved style which was much beloved at the time; her naturalesque inspiration transcends the years to capture a single heart again.
The Diamonds date from an earlier century and were likely recycled when this ring was made. They have their quirks and the centre shows a pale cinnamon hue and natural inclusions including one which crosses the stone and reaches the surface. Being as the Diamond has survived thus far we decided to leave intact (we have priced with this in mind).
Mounted in 20ct Gold, there are Chinese assay marks inside the band and so this points to an origin there which could be possible as Hong Kong was under British rule then.
The ring size may be altered to suit, it measures an 'N' or '6.5' as is. The Diamond weight is around 0.40ct.
