These Victorian drop earrings are an ornate pair of antique earrings made in the Etruscan style with two coiled love knots dangling from the bottom with a domed centre topped with a black and navy enamel star and a sky-blue enamel stone.
Etruscan revival pieces were crafted in the late 1800s after ancient Etruscan jewellery was unearthed in tombs outside of Rome, beginning a fascination with the style and giving birth to these beautiful pieces which were crafted in the same grand and elaborate fashion.
The pair of Victorian drop earrings are fashioned in 18ct gold and display beautiful workmanship and rope edging. They’ve remained in excellent condition and date to the late 19th Century.
We recommend you insure these Etruscan Victorian drop earrings for £2,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
