A very unusual and original antique Victorian Diamond engagement ring which has entirely captured our hearts. The darling olden gems twinkle with a gentle fire and are flattered by the beautiful ornamentally carved mount of rich 18ct Yellow Gold and all is a lovesome vision of antiquery. Circa 1870's, this jewel would make a very special engagement ring.
The central Diamond was cut by hand and reflects the squarey shape of the natural Diamond crystal and has much in common with the legendary Perruzi cut, but has double the number of pavilion facets and so we would say it is an early brilliant-cut of the type which was cut as early as 1670 (Jack Ogden).
The ring size is an 'M and a half' or '6.5' as is but it is possible to alter to suit. The centre stone weighs 0.24ct and the two hand cut shoulder stones around 0.05ct each.
100% recycled, this ring too would be an excellent choice for ethical reasons and you will never see another quite the same.
