A fabulous pair of antique Victorian Forget Me Not drop earrings, fashioned in 18ct yellow gold. The open, halo galleries have been finely engraved and feature two flowers, topped with cabochon turquoise, and three thorn droppers dangling from the bottom.
Turquoise is the birthstone of December and is considered a stone of luck and good fortune. It was often paired with Forget Me Nots in the 19th Century due to their similar sky-blue colouring and was given as a token of enduring love and remembrance.
These are a fabulous pair of antique Victorian earrings, dating to the late 19th Century. They’re both in excellent condition and dangle beautifully from hook wires, secured by a catch at the back.
