Just WOW! Our new muse; an exquisitely hand crafted Emerald and Diamond cocktail ring dating to the 1960's or so. A most splendid display, designed by hand to show off the magnificent specimen 3.10 carat Columbian Emerald which has a most beautiful delicacy of hue, the cutting allowing a gentle gleam from the back facets and making a feature of the mossy like natural 'jardin' inclusions.
A tour de force of the craft; the ring is carefully and skilfully fashioned in Platinum and 18ct Yellow Gold by a master jeweller, the fine beaded setting to the Emerald is of Gold and this framed by twenty-eight twinkly single cut Diamonds which grace the Platinum border and reach down the shoulders. You'll see in our images that even the work to the underbezel is beautifully precise and crisp; quite exceptional.
We have had the Emerald assessed by Gemmological Certification Services in London which confirms the origin as Columbia and of minor clarity enhancement (likely oil). The certificate accompanies the ring.
The face of the ring measures 16.80 by 14.07mm. The ring size could be altered somewhat to suit; it measures a size 'P.5/7.75/16.5/56' as is.
